How to eat food,how to sit how to eat,Why do you have to sit and eat like this?

Correct body positioning is very important during eating, and also important for digestion happen properly. 

Additional correct body posture during eating ensures avoiding blockages of the  airways by food and fluid.

Ideal sitting involves the following:-Hip, knees and feet should be positioned at a 90*angle. 

Your back ideally should be straight 90*angle as well. 

Your feet should be at rest,flat on the floor.

Sitting down to eat allow you to take a time to enjoy your food and eat more slowly. Food stays in your stomach longer and helping you to feel better after finishing your meal .when you sit down for a meal,you eat more leisurely,which helps you manage your portions size and avoid extra calories .

Indian tradition also there was culture to eat meal while sitting on floor ,when you sit down, fold your legs and eat your food,that's called sukhasana position. That time your blood flow towards your stomach and your digestion improve a lot,whatever you eat get digested quickly .

In floor sitting position leptin harmons which signals your brain that you have eaten or not,Also the constant movement of bending forward and straightening up made sure that digestive juices were released enhancing speedy digestion. Also Increases digestive fire as well,This movement of bending forward and straightening upMakes your digestive very easy.

As soon as the sun rises, our digestive fire starts.As the sun gets stronger ,throughout the day so does our digestion .

After the sun sets, our digestive system also shuts down.

After having food,Ayurveda has recommended to sit comfortably in partially lie down position on left side ,and aslo to sleep on left side after meal.

Sleeping on left side ,after meals prevent acid reflux and other acidity and other indigestion problems .
