Pain in or around the knee that may indicate a condition affecting the knee joint itself or the soft tissue around the knee.

Anterior knee pain is pain that occurs at the front and center of the knee. It can be caused by many different problems, including: Chondromalacia of the patella -- the softening and breakdown of the tissue

The most common causes of knee pain are related to aging, injury or repeated stress on the knee. Common knee problems include sprained or strained ligaments, cartilage tears, tendonitis and arthritis.


• The most common knee injuries include fractures around the knee, dislocation, and sprains and tears of soft tissues, like ligaments. In many cases, injuries involve more than one structure in the knee. Pain and swelling are the most common signs of knee injury.

• Arthritis -- Including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, and gout.

• Baker cyst -- A fluid-filled swelling behind the knee that may occur with swelling (inflammation) from other causes, such as arthritis.

• Cancers that either spread to your bones or begin in the bones.

• Pain on the front of the knee can be due to bursitis, arthritis, or softening of the patella cartilage as in chrondromalacia patella. Pain on the sides of the knee is commonly related to injuries to the collateral ligaments, arthritis, or tears to the meniscuses.


Weak Knees Symptoms

• Swelling and stiffness of the knee.

• Redness.

• A burning sensation.

• Instability and weakness.

• Popping noises when the joint is bent.

• The inability to straighten the knee.

• Difficulty transitioning from a sitting to a standing position.

Avoid packaging food and dairy products.
