The nadi ending in the right nostril is called pingala. The nadi ending in the left nostril is called ida. The central nadi, sushumna

 The two Nadi have great importance in the process of our breathing.

There is a IDA nadi .

Second is Pingala Nadi.


               IDA NADI

  Ida meaning “comfort” and nadi meaning “channel” or “flow.”                                         Keeping the nadis free of blockages promotes the flow of prana (life force energy), which improves physical and mental health.

Breathing primarily through the left nostril activates Ida Nadi (a technique known as 'chandra bhedana' or 'moon activating' breath). It also activates the the sympathetic or 'rest and digest' part of the nervous system. This lowers blood pressure and body temperature, calms stress levels and reduces anxiety.


The ida nadi, which represents mental energy, travels the length of the spinal cord,Ida nadi is also called the chandra, or "moon," nadi because it is connected to lunar energy.

Ida (lunar, feminine) corresponds to the left nostril and the left side of the body,

The pingala nadi, which is an origin point of pranic energy, travels the length of the spinal cord, weaving in and out of the seven chakras. From Sanskrit, pingala means "tawny” and nadi means “channel” or “flow.” Pingala nadi is also called the surya, or sun, nadi because it is related to solar energy.


Breathing primarily through the right nostril activates Pingala Nadi (a method known as 'surya bhedana' or 'sun activating' breath). It increases circulation, body temperature, cortisol levels, blood pressure and the heart rate.


pingala (solar, masculine) to the right nostril and the right side of the body, and sushumna to the central axis of the body.



When the right nostril (pingala nadi) is imbalanced or blocked, we can feel hot, irritated, angry, dry, have an excessive appetite, and excessive physical or sexual energy.


 HOW TO ACTIVATE PINGLA

RNB pranayama starts with closing the left nostril with the thumb of the left hand, followed by exhalation through the right nostril and inhaling slowly through the same nostril.

you have to activate your pingla nadi means right nostril

After finishing all work, when go to bed to sleep.


Sit comfortably on the bed and keep the spine straight.Check your nose with your finger, which one is breathing more,If you are breathing more from the right side, then your Pingala Nadi is active.Lie down on the left side.


when the conscious mind enters the subconscious mind.

By putting the conscious mind body in auto pilot mode.

Goes into the subconscious.


If you activate Pingla Nadi before sleeping then

Your Pingla Nadi will remain active all night.


When you wake up in the morning, check carefully that your Pingala Nadi is activated.


With the activation of Pingala Nadi, your digestion process runs smoothly.

You will have a great sleep.  Will go after getting fresh in the morning.
