When it comes to microplastics in salts, studies have found that approximately 90% of all table salt contains microplastics. Table salts contain a higher percentage of microplastics than other salts.

Salt containing microplastics is still available in supermarkets, grocery stores, or online shops. Based on international research, it is possible that humans may be consuming around 20,000 microplastic particles a year with an average of ten grams of daily salt intake.

People across the world Unwittingly consume roughly 5 grams of plastic each week in the course of daily life, or about the weight of a credit card,That's about 250 grams per year—more than a half-pound of plastic every 12 months.

Children consume about 500 particles a day and up to 50,100 particles can be accumulated in an adult's lifetime based on the examined food, drink, and air sources for microplastic ingestion.

Disadvantages of plastic

            ******

• Plastic takes tons of years to decompose. ...

• Producing plastic is cheap, however, it is done using a variety of toxic chemicals and colours. ...

• The recycling process for plastic can be very expensive.

• Heavy use of plastic increases the pollution in the environment.

PVC Polyvinyl chloride

PVC. Polyvinyl chloride, or PVC, is widely known as the most toxic plastic for health and the environment. In its production, it releases dioxins, phthalates, vinyl chloride, ethylene dichloride, lead, cadmium and other toxic chemicals.

Effects of plastic are particularly acute children in the womb and young ones, with increased risks of prematurity, stillbirth, birth defects of the reproductive organs, neurodevelopmental impairment, impaired lung growth, and childhood cancer.

causing cancer or changing hormone activity (known as endocrine disruption), which can lead to reproductive, growth, and cognitive impairment.

Everyday exposure to plastic chemicals is linked to health effects, including: Reproductive health issues. Children's brain health issues. Chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes and dermatitis.

Plastics are made from natural materials such as cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and crude oil through a polymerisation or polycondensation process. Plastics are derived from natural, organic materials such as cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and, of course, crude oil.

Environmental Contamination (i.e. from the ocean or lakes) as a result of plastic pollution in the sea which leads to the formation and omnipresence of microplastic particles. This is the main source of microplastics entering sea salts and lake salts.

Once they land in oceans and forests, plastic bags are eaten by animals, causing various health issues, which often result in death. Plastic bags contain chemicals that can lead to severe health conditions like cancer when ingested. The recycling rate for plastic bags is about 5%, which is extremely low.

Plastic Bags Banned

           *******

Improperly discarded bags have polluted waterways, clogged sewers and been found in oceans, affecting the ecosystem of marine creatures. Huge volumes of plastic waste end up in the oceans every year, causing threats to marine species and disruption to the marine food chain.

   Pure Healthy Salt

            *****

Pink Himalayan salt is a type of rock salt mined from the foothills of the Himalayas. It is regularly touted as being one of the purest salts available, and is said to boast several health benefits.   Pink Himalayan salt water can still help you boost your nutrient levels if you drink it regularly.Controls high blood pressure as it is lower in sodium than table salt.

The distinct pink hue of Himalayan salt is caused by mineral impurities. That's right, there are no additives or process to give the salt it's flamboyant pink colour, it is mined straight from underground and processed to make it safe to eat.the natural harvesting process allows pink Himalayan salt to possess many other minerals and trace elements that are not found in regular table salt. Some people estimate it may contain up to 84 different minerals and trace elements.

Himalayan pink salt

Due to its mineral content, Himalayan pink salt is often also thought of as one of the healthiest salts.Pink Himalayan salt derives from the mountains of the Himalayas. It's called the purest salt on earth because it's said to be uncontaminated with modern-day toxins or pollutants. Another benefit of Himalayan salt is it contains lower amounts of sodium than table salt.

Eat natural salt and stay healthy.
