WHAT IS MILK

            WHAT IS MILK

                                          *****

A whitish liquid secreted by the mammary glands of female mammals as food for their young. especially : cow's milk used as food by human beings.

Milk is the liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals, including humans. Breast milk is the preferred food for infants, as it is well-tolerated while their digestive tracts develop and mature.

Milk is an emulsion or colloid of butterfat globules within a water-based fluid that contains dissolved carbohydrates and protein aggregates with minerals. Because it is produced as a food source for the young, all of its contents provide benefits for growth.

Enzyme Digests Milk

        ********

To digest lactose, infant mammals produce the enzyme lactase.            Lactase breaks down lactose into two simple sugars, glucose and galactose, that can be absorbed more easily.

Breast milk is characterized by a dynamic and complex composition which includes hormones and other bioactive components that could influence infant growth, development, and optimize health.

Pepsin, which is known to be present in the stomach of infants by 16 weeks of gestation,3 functions best at an acidic pH and is irreversibly denatured at pH 7.

      Milk digestion process

                ********

Rennin is the enzyme present in the stomach of babies. Rennin converts milk into insoluble casein. Lactobacillus is the microbe which converts milk into curd under specific temperature.

Rennin curdled the milk and pepsin digests the proteins in the milk .Milk cannot be digested without curdling so it renin curdled it then Amylopsin , Pepsin and steapsin digest carbohydrates proteins and fats( repectively ) present in the milk.

When a small child vomits after drinking milk, milk does not come out, but curd comes out.

When an adult drinks milk, only milk will come out of it during the vomiting, not curd.

You observe nature carefully.

The child of any animal does not drink milk after growing up.

Humans are the only species that do not give up milk when they grow up.

When the baby animal has enough understanding that I don't want milk anymore, I can eat food.

Then we are humans. Why don't we humans understand so much that we don't want milk, we want good food.

The human body typically begins to lose its ability to digest lactose after infancy in a process known as lactose malabsorption.

REALITY OF DAIRY PRODUCTS

             *********

Saturated Fat and Heart Disease

Milk and other dairy products are the top sources of artery-clogging saturated fat .                            Milk products also contain cholesterol. Diets high in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol increase the risk of heart disease.

Milk can cause many digestive problems like gas, bloating, diarrhoea, or constipation. These problems are caused largely due to milk undergoing heavy processing, which leads to an imbalance between good and bad gut bacteria, or due to lactose intolerance.

Packaged milk available in the market may be low in fat but high in sugar, making us predisposed to diabetes.

    Best Alternative to Milk

              ********

• Non-dairy substitute for decades because its nutrition profile closely resembles that of cow's milk. ...

• Almond Milk. Almond milk is a great dairy alternative when you are looking to cut calories. ...

• Coconut Milk. ...

• Cashew Milk.

The bottom line is no, dairy products are not a nutritional requirement for humans. We can get all of the nutrients for optimal health from a high-quality diet that limits or contains no dairy.

         Thanks to all
