According to Hindu custom, one should bathe first thing in the morning. After early morning cleansing, all actions like puja, eating, working, and so on should be undertaken.

 

The tradition prevalent now is that bath with cold water early in the morning is the best. Ayurvedic classics mention the detail routine of work from waking up in brahmamuhiirta. Before bath several other works are to be attended to and this verily brings the time oftaking bath to after sunrise.


Indian astrology, it is believed that adding turmeric to bathing water can bring good luck and prosperity. Turmeric is also believed to possess purifying properties and can remove negative energy from the body. To use turmeric in bathing water, mix a small amount of turmeric powder in warm water and bathe with it.


Chant this mantra while bathing: गङ्गे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति । नर्मदे सिन्धु कावेरि जलेऽस्मिन् संनिधिं कुरु ॥ O Holy Rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari and Saraswati, O Holy Rivers Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri; Please be Present in this Water (and make it Holy).

The navel chakra, also known as the Manipura chakra, is the third primary energy center in the human body. This chakra governs our sense of self, personal power, and transformation. As the center of our life-force energy or Prana, the navel chakra is responsible for fueling our vitality, motivation, and drive.


Internally the veins and arteries in the cord close up and form ligaments, which are tough connective tissues. These ligaments divide up the liver into sections and remain attached to the inside of the belly button.

       Morning Shower

80 percent of our body's immunity is in our navel.  To start taking bath, first of all put your hand below the navel and pour water continuously for three minutes. This will happen that all the energy of our body will come into the stomach.  As soon as the energy comes out of the body's others organ, the entire body becomes in a cool condition.  Then pour water on the whole body and take bath.  By taking bath like this, you will experience a different kind of freshness.


This is the correct way to take bath in the morning.


         EVENING SHOWER

When incorporated into a bedtime routine, a nighttime shower may help send your brain the signal that it is time to sleep. Showering at night also ensures you will be cleaner when you go to bed, reducing the buildup of sweat, dirt, and body oils on your bedding.


It's important to sleep clean. Evening shower can help you get rid of skin problems, gives you a sound sleep, which in turn, prepares you for the following day.

 

There are many benefits of taking bath in the evening.  If you have a fight with someone or are feeling upset or having negative thoughts in your mind, then go and take a bath quickly. First pour some water on the navel, then bathe thoroughly for some time from head to toe.  This will remove all the negative energy from within you and you will feel refreshed.
