What is a temple

 What is a temple

                                          ********

Hindu temple architecture include the inner chamber (garbhagriha), the temple hall (mandapa), entrance gates (gopuram), and towers that rest atop the temple (shikhara or vimanam). Decorations such as carved sculptures and paintings are also often included in Hindu temples.

The garbhagriha is made to house the main icon which is itself the focus of much ritual attention; (ii) the entrance to the temple which may be a portico or colonnaded hall that incorporates space for a large number of worshippers and is known as a mandapa; (iii) freestanding temples tend to have a mountain-like spire.

               Triangle

The trinities and triangles are associated with sacred geometries in various religions and cultures.

Hindu temple is a symmetry-driven structure, with many variations, on a square grid of padas, depicting perfect geometric shapes such as circles and squares .                          Hindu temple is built around the belief that all things are one, everything is connected. A temple, states Lewandowski, "replicates again and again the Hindu beliefs in the parts mirroring, and at the same time being, the universal whole" like an "organism of repeating cells"The pilgrim is welcomed through mathematically structured spaces, a network of art, pillars with carvings and statues that display and celebrate the four important and necessary principles of human life—the pursuit of artha (prosperity, wealth), the pursuit of kama (desire), the pursuit of dharma (virtues, ethical life) and the pursuit of moksha (release, self-knowledge).

At the centre of the temple, typically below and sometimes above or next to the deity, is mere hollow space with no decoration, symbolically representing Purusa, the Supreme Principle, the sacred Universal, one without form, which is present everywhere, connects everything, and is the essence of everyone. A Hindu temple is meant to encourage reflection, facilitate purification of one's mind, and trigger the process of inner realization within the devotee.

In simple words...

The reason or fact is to absorb positive vibrations and energy. Many temples in India are built considering the locations which have the Positive magnetic and electric fields. The following are the scientific reasons like activate the senses to absorb the positive vibrations and retain the vibrations.

Temple spaces are high in pure vibrations of magnetic and electric fields. The temple floors are good conductors that absorb positive energy. Walking barefooted on these floors will help the energy pass through your body.

As you might have noticed that there is no roof over the temple.  The walls themselves are attached at the top. On top of that, there are Kalash and on top of that there are flags.  That is why there is no effect of gravitational force on our body in the temple, hence we get a lot of peace in the temple.

In your house or any other place

As you stand on Earth, for example, Earth's gravity is slightly stronger at your feet than at your head. The differential is small.

          ZERO GRAVITY

When sleeping in the zero-gravity position, your knees, torso and head are raised slightly above your stomach. This position is typically set at a 120-degree angle; however, it can be adjusted to achieve whatever is most comfortable for you.

Now in my living experience

           ............

Now according to my experience, if you start paying attention to your breathing, you will have to do deep breathing most of the time.  Sit still on a seat and experience your breathing carefully. Gradually you will notice that your breathing will start becoming shorter.  Then gradually breathing will stop. You are sitting in a stable posture, now you will experience something different.  After that you will realize that what you were trying to find outside, is present within you.  Your religious journey will start.

Your spiritual journey will start from here.  This is the experience of my life.

Your smile is our moto.
