Feeding ourselves is one of the most natural and required functions of our lives as humans. There are no good or bad foods, and subsequently you cannot be good or bad for eating certain foods. By imposing morality onto food there is a suggestion that we embody that morality as a person.


Mood and emotion could influence food choice via physiological effects that change appetite, or by changing other behaviour that constrains or alters food availability. On the other hand, alteration of mood may be an outcome of food choice, deliberate or otherwise.


our society, our relationship with food is that it's more than fuel; it's often how we express ourselves and how we share our lives together. Food has its place in the foundation of relationships, whether we're dining out for a first date or bringing a meal to a friend to celebrate a big event.


Food can put a damper on stressful feelings, though the effect is temporary. Foods high in fat, sugar, and salt can become more appealing when you are under stress, are in a bad mood, or feel bad about yourself. 


The link between food and love may very well be explained by simple biology. After all, the first meaningful physical interaction humans (and other mammals) have with another is being fed by their parents. It is a natural, and necessary, instinct for mothers and fathers to feed their children.



So whenever you cook in a happy and cheerful mood, your food will taste delicious and will have healing powers. But, if you cook with anger, no matter how hard you try, the food will not have that level of deliciousness and perfection. Thus, you have the power to mould the mood of those eating your food!

To love cooking means to have a great passion and enjoyment for preparing and creating meals.


According to researchers, food that is perceived to have been “made with love” tastes more delicious. 

our mood can affect our flavor perception. Mild stress can increase the intensity of bitterness and decrease sweetness.


Emotions are conscious mental reactions (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feelings usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body.




MOTHERS BEWARE -YOUR THOUGHTS, VIBRATIONS AND EMOTIONS GOES INTO THE FOOD WHILE PREPARING.



Annam Parabhram" means food is a form of Divine. The person who cooks the food plays a significant role in molding the character and future of children. Mothers feelings, thoughts and emotions  at the time of cooking is transmitted into the food that is cooked. If mothers  is sick, angry, depressed or  sad for any reason, the same goes into food. For no reason Children has to suffer and they will also become depressed sad and sick after eating the food.  Mothers can shape the future  and character of children through food. The followings steps should always be taken  in the interest of family members.


While cooking the cook should be in a peaceful  state of mind.  He should not be  angry, disturbed or frustrated .  Saying  any  mantra  or Holy word while preparing food is an easy and uplifting way to enhance the healing energy of any meal . In many Ashrams  the cook is directed to utter OM while the food is being cooked.



Before eating your meal, we should thank God for such a delicious meal.  We should offer our food to God with devotion before eating it and when food is offered to God it turns into Prasad which is spiritually nourishing.
