Golden milk (also called turmeric milk) is a warm beverage made with ingredients that are shown to reduce inflammation and help improve sleep, including turmeric and ginger, which give the drink its signature “golden” hua. 

It can be seen in this Turmeric Rice and this Turmeric Smoothie too.


Both turmeric and black pepper are loaded with anti-inflammatory properties. When these two are combined, this mixture contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Inflammation usually increases during the winter season. This can be consumed during the winter season.





How to prepare Golden milk

Break a coconut, take out the white coconut and put it in small pieces in a mixer, grinder and run it with some water. It will turn into milk. Squeeze it with a cotton cloth.  If you do this three times, one liter of milk will come out from one coconut.


Black Pepper Turmeric

1. A glass light coconut milk.

2. ½  inch size raw turmeric.

3. 4 grains of Black pepper 

A few grinds of freshly cracked black pepper.


50 grams  jaggery or sweetener of your choice, to taste.



Coconut milk and turmeric is a great home remedy for cough, congestion, colds, and skin problems. This winter, replace your usual hot cocoa with an invigorating cup of wellness.
