 In yoga philosophy, prana shakti is the primordial cosmic energy that governs all physical functions. Prana is life force energy and shakti is associated with feminine or creative energy. Prana shakti is one of three forms of shakti that energizes the body, mind and soul.


The prana is constantly in motion flowing in and out of the energy vortices, known as the chakras. Our psychosomatic health depends on the unobstructed flow of this vital energy.

Retention of breath is also a way to control the Prana in the body. Pranayama (the general term for the breathing exercises yogis practise) means to control the energy (Prana = energy, yama = to control). Pranayama always contains retention of the breath. This holding of the breath builds the energy within the body.

1. Conscious deep breathing is the natural source of prana shakti.

2. Prana shakti/Life force does one thing at a time.

If you are watching television while eating, the food will not be digested properly.

3. Before sleeping at night.And as soon as you wake up in the morning.

Chant God's name for at least 5 minutes.

Whichever God you believe in.

   

4.  Become one with mind, action and speech.

If you promise something to someone, try your best to fulfill it. Because words have power.

5. Always be honest with yourself.
